Cowboy Chapels are designed to be utilized both as self standing and/or as chapters under an existing church. They are Lay Ministry oriented outreach endeavors geared to bring in unchurched individuals who are interested in learning about Christ.
Our focus is quite simple. We utilize all of the tools at our disposal to assist people in their day to day walk with the Lord. We seek to provide a vehicle that can be utilized across the board to serve people from all walks of life and create a user-friendly church that is more active in ministry and outreach. It’s designed to accommodate the needs of the Body of Christ — and it’s a vehicle Christians can utilize to serve those within their communities as well as those far beyond their communities.
We provide a bit ‘less formal’ approach to worship because we are actively reaching out to those with a variety of ‘special needs’ applications: children with Autism and Autism Spectrum Disorders — those suffering from Combat Related PTSD — people for whom conventional church is not an option if, for no other reason, than that they have ‘service animals’ that cannot attend conventional church services.
Our “Critter Church” services are designed to focus on the relationship between animals and people and encourage people to recognize that ‘service animals’ are, quite literally, a gift from God who can assist people in living their best lives — In much the same way, of course, that the lives of dedicated Christians are enhanced by their walk with Jesus Christ.
